Chocolate Chip Pie
Maybe you've seen the recipe for Chocolate Chip Pie before, but if not it is a great one! A friend of mine made this a couple of different times for me when I came over for dinner, and it is so yummy! She actually would experiment with it and add some other candies, etc. and every time it came out delicious. Eventually I had her pass the recipe on to me, and it went right in my favorite recipes cookbook.
A couple of weeks ago I came across this recipe again, and I just had to make it for my family for dessert. It came out so good, and we made it last over a couple of days so that we could savor it. I think the next time I make it I am going to experiment with mixing chocolate and peanut butter chips. This pie tastes great finished off with a scoop of ice cream or some cool whip on top!

Chocolate Chip Pie Directions...
First, beat eggs in a large mixer...
Beat eggs on high with a large mixer until foamy.
Next, mix in flour, sugar, and brown sugar...
Add flour, sugar and brown sugar to eggs and mix until thoroughly incorporated.
Then, beat in butter...
Be sure the butter is softened to room temperature so that it is easy to incorporate into the batter.
Finally, stir in chocolate chips...
Gently fold chocolate chips into the batter using a spatula or spoon.
Spoon batter into pie shell...
Spread batter smoothly into unbaked pie crust in a pie pan. I like to flute the crust edge to make it look nice.

Enjoy with ice cream or whipped cream on top!
