Favorite Kitchen Gift Ideas for Mom

I was baking some Chocolate Chip Cookies yesterday and I realized I have some great kitchen tools that I absolutely love and I bet a lot of other people would love as well! Even though I've never really done a post like this before, I decided with Mother's Day coming up this would be a perfect time for a mom who loves to bake and cook to share some of her favorite items from the kitchen for gift ideas! Even better, I provided the Amazon links for all of the items so you can order them and have them shipped right to yourself or your favorite Mom, Grandma, Mother figure, etc!

In my round up of these favorite kitchen items I was sure to include a few of my favorite cookbooks along with my go-to tools and even a couple of appliances. I hope you enjoy my recommendations and they help spark some ideas for a perfect Mother's Day gift. Enjoy!

Favorite Cookbooks...

My Favorite Recipes Cookbook

First of all, I have to share my favorite place to keep all of my recipes. My mom gifted me one of these cookbooks as a wedding gift. It is a blank book that you can write all of your favorite recipes in and add to it as you find more. When my mom gave it to me she wrote a whole bunch of our family's favorite recipes so that I would have them for years to come. I still use this book all of the time and I keep adding all of my favorites to it!

Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook

I have an older version of this cookbook that is no longer available, but their cookbooks are a great resource for kitchen basics and delicious recipes. I really like that I can usually find simple recipes that are easy for anyone to follow in these cookbooks.

Skinnytaste Cookbook and Fast and Slow

If you have never found the Skinnytaste blog online, her recipes are awesome! These cookbooks are my go-to when I need something to make for my family that is easy while also healthy. These two cookbooks are such a great collection of her recipes with beautiful pictures and easy to follow directions. Plus, I never have made a recipe of hers that I do not love. They are all so good!

Favorite Kitchen Tools/Appliances...

3 in 1 Avocado Slicer

This is seriously one of the best kitchen tools I own! It makes it so easy to cut open the avocado, remove the pit and slice it- all with one tool! Best part is that it is only 10 dollars! Worth every penny to never have to risk slicing your hand open every time you want to make ultimate guacamole or avocado toast.

Ninja Blender/Food Processor

If you've ever checked out my Cantina Style Salsa recipe you would know how much I love this blender! It works so good for everything from smoothies to making homemade salsa. Plus, it takes up a lot less space than a traditional blender. You will definitely not regret getting the Ninja Blender that comes with a bonus food processor!

USA Pan Bakeware

So, around Christmastime I was in a store and I saw these baking pans. They were so heavy duty and nice I was intrigued to see how good they worked. I bought them and oh my gosh- they are awesome! They are such nice pans, they don't warp in the oven and cookies come right off of them! I highly recommend these pans for anyone who loves to bake!

Pie Top Cutter

I discovered these Nordic Ware Pie Top Cutters last fall, and they are so nice! You use them like a giant cookie cutter for the top crust of a pie. Just press down and it cuts an adorable design right in the top crust. So easy and looks great! A perfect gift for someone who loves to bake pie.

Cuisinart Slow Cooker

This is definitely on the more expensive side, but it is worth every penny. You may have seen me talk about how much I love my slow cooker on some of my recipe posts like Chicken Taco Bowls or Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings. It has so many more settings than a traditional slow cooker. I love how I can set the time, temperature, etc. so easily. My favorite part is that when the time runs out it just switches over to warm and keeps the food warm until you are ready for it.

KitchenAid Stand Mixer

Okay, I know this is an appliance that probably breaks the budget for most. But, I could not make a list of all of my favorite kitchen things and not include it. My KitchenAid Stand Mixer is my all time favorite thing I have in my kitchen. My husband gave it to me as a gift almost 14 years ago! It is so heavy duty, easy to use, and has amazing attachments. If someone in your life loves to bake and doesn't have a KitchenAid stand mixer this would be the ultimate gift for them!
